CNET
CNET is an American media website publishing technology and consumer reviews, news, articles, and videos on electronics.
Apple's introduction of iOS7 led CNET's mobile design into a visual overhaul. Pre 3.0 design consisted of standard carousel main images and text with small thumbnails. Our team decided to apply a more contemporary image deck + simple headline approach.

The ask
Brand refresh - changing the visual application to adhere to new OS guidelines for iOS / android and desktop / mobile web
What was done
Applied new visual aesthetics to existing interfaces. New OS principles led to a more seamless experience; iOS considerations, Android Material Design implementation
Problems or challenges
Balancing between legacy platforms and pushing new interfaces led to delays in publishing new visual applications
What could be done with more time
A more formulated strategy on priority of pages that have more clicks and retention and applying the visual changes in piecemeal to have consecutive releases and minimal delays
